NCTE Literary Awards
Our 2018-19 literary magazine, revive, received a NCTE first class ranking, our 2017-18 literary magazine, montage, earned a NCTE PRESLM ranking of excellent, and our 2016-17 literary magazine, evoke, received the Highest Award from NCTE PRESLM.
MIPA Student Journalism
The 2019-20 and 2022-23 Wind-Up received a Spartan award, the highest ranking from MIPA. The 2017-18 Wind-Up received a gold ranking from MIPA, and the 2016-17, 2018-19, and 2021-22 Wind-Up received a silver ranking from MIPA for outstanding student publications in the state of Michigan.
Scholastic Writing Awards
Several student journalism pieces are awarded with gold and silver keys and honorable mentions for the SW MI regional Scholastic Writing competition each year, including two silver keys and one honorable mention in 2019-2020.
