Hi guys! I’m Avery, and I am this year’s Editor in Chief of the Wind-Up! This is my senior year, and my third year on the Wind-Up staff. Aside from working on the Wind-Up, I am always working, finding something to do in our small town with friends (usually aimlessly walking around Meijer), and binge watching Grey’s Anatomy over and over again. After I finally graduate, I plan to go to GVSU (go Lakers) and study sonography. I’m so excited for this year’s publication, and can’t wait to get some issues out to you guys!

Hi, my name is Ellie Fischer and I’m managing editor of the Wind-Up! I took journalism freshman year, then joined the Wind-Up staff as a junior because it didn’t fit into my schedule. My favorite things to write about are the environment and tennis. Additionally, I really like creating the WU games page. I hope you all love reading the Wind-Up this year!

Hi! My name is Claudia, and I’ll be the online editor-in-chief on Wind-Up this year. I’m also the podcast’s host, and I’m excited to write and create for everyone! Outside of school, you can find me having bonfires on the beach with my friends, journaling and listening to CDs from my collection, working at Wanderlust or Chocolate Cafe downtown, and taking pictures on my digital and film cameras. I’m so ready to use Wind-Up as my creative outlet this year!

Hi St.Joe! I'm Rose Lawrence, and I’ll be your 24-25 design editor! Besides the Wind-Up, I’m also involved in the musical, play, and choir here at St.Joe. Some of my favorite pastimes are writing, hanging out with my friends, and listening to music (Boygenius fans rise up). I can't wait for an amazing year, and to put out some awesome issues of the windup for you guys this year!

Howdy! My name is Sanjan Ameresh, I’m a 12th grader, and a part of the Media and Web editor team for Wind-Up. Reading the Wind-up Issues, I was inspired to address certain issues worldwide. Whether that be culture, news, or features, I enjoy writing and aspire to give a voice to this school. Outside of school, I like to go on bike rides, listen to music, and play tennis or basketball. This is my first year on the Wind-Up, and I am eager to work with the amazing staff and do what I enjoy.
