Pandemic Conscious Travel

After over a year of dealing with COVID-19, many people will be desperate to go on a summer 2021 get-away. If you’re looking for some advice or inspiration for a summer vacay, you’ve come to the right place.

There´s some good news and some bad news. The bad news is that many countries are still going to be closed to Americans this summer. Some exceptions are much of the Caribbean, and Greece (as long as you’re fully vaccinated). Ireland and the U.K are open as well, however, any traveler that enters is required to self-isolate for 14 days after arrival. Sorry.

Good news is there’s a glimmer of hope for people wishing to travel to Europe. According to an article from the Washington Post, the European Union has announced that at the end of June, the bloc is seriously considering allowing fully-vaccinated people to visit the E.U. That brings up something else as well. If it is safe, accessible, and something you are willing to do, getting vaccinated is almost certainly going to be a requirement for any form of international travel, and there’s a real possibility that it will be required to get on any form of domestic flight as well.

In addition, you are not only protecting yourself but those around you as well as you are in a cramped plane or in a country with struggling vaccine programs.

So, given this information, if you´re desperate to go on a trip this summer, take the quiz below and find out where you should go!
