My Top Five Pasta Dishes

When you think of your comfort food, pasta should always come to mind. There are so many dishes you can make: spaghetti and meatballs, chicken alfredo, ravioli, and more. Pasta has endless possibilities of what can be made with the dish, and everyone loves it.

“My favorite type of noodles are rotini pasta. The shape is perfect to get the right amount of sauce,” Kirsten McKitrick, 11 said.

To inform everyone about the amazing, delicious dishes you can make with pasta, I’ve made a list of the best ones.

  1. You literally can’t go wrong with spaghetti and meatballs; I mean, it’s a classic. Remember the memories of you coming home and smelling the tomato sauce cooking on the stove accompanied by the garlic bread roasting in the oven? You can’t beat it.

  2. Three words. Mac and cheese. It’s always reliable: quickly heat it up in the microwave and mix in that cheesy deliciousness within five minutes. Plus, there are no restraints. You can use any type of noodle, and whatever type of cheese. Whether you’re a child, teen, or adult you can enjoy a delicious bowl of mac and cheese.

  3. Next up is pasta with pesto. Pesto is pretty underrated, but shouldn’t be. It has just the right amount of tanginess to accompany that basil and garlic taste. Such a small amount can alter the flavor of your pasta in the best way possible; who wants plain pasta when you can eat it with a delectable basil sauce?

  4. Another popular sauce for pasta is creamy garlic parmesan. It’s perfect for any occasion. The only ingredients are butter, cream, garlic, and parmesan cheese. It’s a simple sauce, but it tastes incredible.

  5. Last up, there’s buttered noodles. This is always a classic, and so comforting. Although it might not have as much flavor as the others, buttered noodles will always be there for you. If you want to add a little extra flavor, you can even throw in some lemon juice!
