Noemi Méndez

I Hope the trumpet section remains the loudest and that you all continue the band camp traditions!! I hope you all continue to have fun with Mr. Doe and all his ideas. And thank you at all the teachers that have left a positive impact on my life. Also shoutout  to Mrs. Becker, Mr. Andree, and Mr. Doe, my favorite teachers I had my senior year! Thank you, Gracias por todo St Joe.

 

Cole Riedel

I, Cole Riedel, leave Mr. Uren with carrying on the Agricultural Revolution. I leave Griffin Shinrock and Ellie Pav to make F.O.F. proud. I also leave Tim Dokter my humor, because he definitely needs more of that.

 

Chloe Dockham

To Lela Ledford I leave annoying alto mom—don't let the power get to you. To Bella Sliter I leave Lela Ledford—she needs someone to watch over her. To Aleena Schadler, Josh Hafely, Bella, and Lela, thank you all for everything you've done for me. To my theater fam, I leave knowing full and well you guys are insane, loveable creatures who will accept newcomers with open arms. Make your Plate Mom proud! To Mrs. Culver and G-Roll, thank you for the endless support and positivity—you both are truly something special. To all of my fellow seniors, we did it! Love you all!

 

Megan Lesch

Thank you for making these four years a wonderful learning experience. I leave my stage crew duties to my lovely techies. Love your teachers because they have a huge impact on your life. I hope I will be remembered. Love your neighbor as yourself. Make as many memories as you can. Forever and always: Go Bears!

I leave the duties of Clarinet mom to Ashley Schlipp and Ella Ott—you guys are gonna kill it at band camp again. Jake Goos, I leave you with the nickname Goos and my endless support. Only two more years kiddo. To Sophie Pavese, Grace and I leave you with our lunch table and all of our love. Lastly, to my freshmen pals, you’ve got this, I’ll see you at your own graduation. Thank you SJHS for the craziest four years of my life.

Thank you to everyone who supported and believed in me through these tough years. You are all the reason I made it this far. To Anna Nobouphasavanh, I give you all my love, support and encouragement to you. I know you will do amazing things. I will always be with you, no matter where I am. To Mrs. Nic, I know you will continue to change kids' lives and leave big impacts on every student you have, just like you did on me. Thank you all!

I leave the juniors of Chamber Orchestra to lead their class next year and become great role models for their underclassmen. I leave Amelia Hines as the next critical violist who will shout at everybody out of love. And I leave my prayers to all juniors who will be applying to colleges this coming year. I, William Todd Christy, have some gifts to give. To student senate I leave the utmost of vibes, carry on the bear pride. To Lucas Atherton, I leave the track team, dubs only though please. And to the general population of SJHS I leave a winning record in the Lakeshore vs. SJ football game, please don't screw it up one year after we're gone. GO BEARS!!!

I, Zoe Downey, leave Aeryn Hart math class notes and everlasting giggles. To all my theater kid family I leave you the theater and my home, take care of it. And to Gideon, Justin, and Jared I leave 9 hour robotics meetings, inside jokes, and Ken's pieces and parts. Go win worlds! And to Elise, I leave you crappy Hallmark movies and cookie dough, and all of my love. To SJHS, I leave Belle, Audrey, and Scarecrow.

 

Paige Bennett

I would like to pass on playing the Quads to my brother Wesley Bennett for the 2020 marching band season. He has great potential of being an amazing drummer and would love to see him playing the drums though his high school career.

I want to thank everyone who was there for me with moving to a new school like this. I have made so many memories here at St. Joe. I am so happy to have moved from my old school freshman year to here sophomore through senior year. I am glad I graduated from St. Joe and I wish all of you underclassmen the best! I, Konner LaVanway, leave the St. Joseph Bears football team in the hands of the class of 2021. I trust you guys will work like no other to make this the best season to ever come to St. Joe. Beating Lakeshore is great, but strive for that State Title. #1 out

 

Brooke Russell

Brooke Russell hands the baton off to De’Asia Branch to lead the SJHS Women’s Track Team to victory in the 2021 season. Help lead the team to a winning season, especially against Lakeshore! Maybe I’ll be back to coach someday…

 

Nadia Muniz

I leave the underclassman cellos with a big responsibility: win section pride day, keep Food Fridays alive, and don't annoy Mr. Lokey too much. To Claire Colclough, please make sure everyone on the cheer team continues conditioning. To Abbi Kalin, my forever teammate and bestie, make sure you savor every moment of high school--always cheer your loudest.

 

Alexis Pendergrass

I leave my title of bone queen to the next person who buys a bone in math class. To all my girls of this year I wish you all the very best and I leave you all my love and support in the coming years. To Mrs. Britton, I leave not 1, but 2 wholesome insults– anymore and I'd lose the class competition. I leave an infinite number of thank you's to Ms. Shuster for writing my letter of rec. and for making a science class particularly enjoyable. I leave tumbling for cheer competitions to Ashley Hartfield. I leave flying the kick-off stunt to Breckyn Bussey. I leave eating a lot before cheer to Grace Larsen.

I, Amy Paine, leave Aeryn Hart next year's lit mag. You’ll do great, trust me. I leave Aleena Schadler Science Olympiad, if she still wants it (don’t eat worms). Morgan Covert, you’re in charge of the mock trial team. Good luck. I leave Mae Fischer awkward NHS dances. Morgan Hanks, I leave you every good song from my Instagram stories and late-night Netflix parties. To Joe Paine, I leave too many AP classes and Science Olympiad, if Aleena doesn’t want it. Charge your calculator and stop storing pens in your hoodie. I leave Beth Paine the love I found for SJHS. You’ll have fun. I promise.

I leave Michaela Hadaway the title of being the shortest senior in the musical. I leave the "magic hat" to Morgan Hanks and all of my theater family. To Lela Ledford and Bree Chapman, I leave forensic murder mysteries and Mr. Gallagher's memes. I leave the AP Art kids Mr. Culver's fishing references. To Claire Colclough, I leave lots of hugs. For Hadley Matlock, I leave lunchroom fit checks and babydoll dresses. I leave Saturday nights in the basement to Joey and Timmy.

My high school experience was like a Georges Seurat painting—filled with tiny, individual moments that collectively made the person I am today. Though there were times I questioned if it was all worth it, and many times I doubted it was, I survived and am so proud of not only myself but all of my classmates because oh boy—this was a crazy 4 years. To my fellow Bears, you’re all so bright and I can’t wait to see where we all end up. I, Nolan Becker, leave my lunch table to all my Junior friends, and my spot as 1st trumpet to my fellow 6th hr trumpets. Y'all are awesome!

 

Sky Stockton

I, Sky Stockton, leave Finn with morning Jeep drives to school with the top down. I leave Kiersten, Nolan and Tyler pizza for Wind-Up layout week and the rights to my shares in Seguin, TX—good luck with next year and the yogurt company. I leave an apology to Mr. Miesse for every Calc test I took in pen, and I leave all my teachers with more gratitude than I could ever explain in this will. Finally, I leave SJHS with all of my winter coats. I won’t be needing them anymore :)

 

Zoe Burkett

I, Zoe Burkett, leave drumline responsibilities to the amazing girls of our section (because we know the boys will forget). I’m so proud of all of you for how much you have learned in the past few years. Take care of my quads! I leave Sophie the job of being persistent and never giving up with the softball team. And for Nathan, I leave some confidence and support because I know high school is hard but you’re awesome and you can do anything! I love you all

 

Aarushi Fernandez

I, Aarushi Fernandez, leave the tennis team to Grace Portenga, you better make your senior season the best it can be. I leave Mock Trial to my Morgans, I love you both endlessly. I leave my incredible teachers a big thank you :)

 

Sophie Wagner

I leave Maya Hunter the job of looking after Momma Wags and the 14 hour car ride to Gulf Shores. I leave Momma Wags the handfuls of candy that I took from her office and big hugs and thank you's for getting me through school after my constant threatening, “I’m going to drop out.”

 

Casey Miller

I, Casey Miller, leave the cello section to Maya Hunter. I leave my Spanish skills to Blake Flanagan. I leave the long jump pit to Levi Beam. I leave the hurdles to Lucas Atherton. I leave all my awesome teachers over the past four years my utmost appreciation.

 

Grace Koch

I, Grace Koch, leave Lauren Koch with the track team. Always give it your best, be humble, never give up! I, on behalf of Emma Goos, leave Sophie Pavese our bathroom mirror selfies. Stay strong girlie, one more year! Lastly, I leave Andrew McCrery with his amazing cooking skills; always saving our group when I messed up a recipe.

Thank you so much to all who were so welcoming to me when I joined SJHS Junior year. It was hard for me, and many of you made sure I fit in. To all the staff that have helped me along the way, believing that I will have a good future. To Mr. Blomgren, Mr. Berry, and Mr. Guzzo for getting the dance team back this year. I hope it sticks around for many more years to come. For the underclassmen, enjoy the rest of your high school years while you can. Make each day count, because you may never know when it will be your last.

I leave the rest of the trumpet section the northwestern corner of the school parking lot and your rights—no clarinet could ever take them away from you. I leave Morgan and Noah the thick cucumber and all other french drawings. Finally, I leave Amanda with the lunch table. We were unable to send it off properly so please take good care of it.

 

Alex Malone

I, Alex Malone, leave the basketball team to Symone King. Be the leader the team needs and go win a district championship like we always dreamed of!

I leave my amazing teachers, freshman to senior year, with immense gratitude for helping me throughout difficult tests, confusing labs, non-existent papers, and mental breakdowns. Sydney, I'm finally leaving: you get the school and car all to yourself. Love ya dork. To the volleyball, team I leave you all with crazy memories, random texts, and amazing dance breaks. Thank you guys for being amazing teammates. Addyson and Jordan, I believe in you too. You can be crazy and loud in choir. Love you guys...boogie time.

Thank you everyone in the SJ band for an amazing four years, I wouldn't have wanted to spend my 5th and 6th hour with anyone else. It was a tragedy that I put my uniform on with you all for the last time without even knowing it. I pass the drum line throne down to you, Parker Scrima-Bailey. Make me proud.

Thank you so much to all of my teammates. I have so much for you guys and I will definitely miss you guys when I leave. I want to leave behind my work ethic and drive I have for the game of baseball to the underclassman that play baseball. Every time you get a chance to do a little extra to become better please take advantage of it. Keep working hard and give 100% to bring home a championship we didn’t get a chance to win. And I also leave my parking spot to my boy Jack Mcqueen.

I plan to leave my duties as “Stage Mom” to Elise Bradford, make sure everyone stays quiet backstage too. Food Fridays I leave to the remaining members of the cello section, happy eating to all of you. To Hannah Bogner I leave all my energy drinks and bottles of water, stay caffeinated, stay hydrated, and make sure others follow suit. Finally, I leave my parking spot to Taylor Hartley. Sure, I didn’t have a designated parking spot, but she gets “my” parking spot in spirit. To Madame and the rest of the upper French class, I leave all my Clamanthas. I can send them over mail.

 

Chris Gaikwad

Remember, don't give up and always work hard. Also, don't be depressed if something doesn't go your way - that's life. You are all unique and competent in great things. We are the future, and we can change the world.

 

Aubrey White-Day

To Karly, never stop loving with your whole heart and always be your curly-headed passionate self. Kiley, you must carry on the pre-practice “study” seshs. To my volleyball babies, I leave you with all the group hugs in the world. Lucky, thank you for never failing to make me smile. Ms. Nic, thank you for being the most wonderful person I’ll ever know, and thank you for being my role model. To Cameron...LG. I give the entire chamber orchestra to James Diamond (do with it as you wish). I give the table in the back of Mr. Miesse's room to Owen and Athan (thanks for keeping me sane). To the Blue Face Boys (you know who you are) I give my encouragement for the rest of high school. Try to excel and don’t get into too much trouble. To the senior class of St. Joe, I give my thanks. I, Dylan Marzke, leave Tyler Meier the title of Wind-Up snack. I leave Nolan Yougstedt the sailing team and Chris Marzke’s content with our back-of-the-fleet finishes. I leave Lily Conybeare and Norah Judge the ability to keep Tyler and Nolan focused during layout week. To Kiersten, I leave the ability to not only fill Sky’s shoes, but blow them away—you’re going to crush it with design next year. I leave Finn Stockton with my style now that no one will see us matching at school anymore. Last but not least, to Mrs. Hunter, Klus and Mr. Culver, I leave endless thanks for believing in me and in turn, making me believe in myself.
