With very little snow last year, southwest Michigan is expecting a much different winter. According to NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), a La Niña pattern will be upon us this winter. This means above-average precipitation and below-average temperatures. Last time we had a La Niña winter we recorded one of the snowiest winters with 94.5 inches in 2009. So get those snowblowers out and jackets zipped up for this 2020/2021 winter.
