As many students at SJHS anticipated the upcoming end of Quarter 2, there were still semester exams to prepare for, up until this past Monday. In a statement released by St. Joseph Public Schools, it was decided the first semester’s testing would be called off “due to the fact we have been alternating and adjusting schedules a lot this first semester…” Final grades will now be averaged between the first and second quarter grades of a given class, except for students enrolled in Direct Credit classes with Lake Michigan College, who must take exams nonetheless. The traditional half-day schedule for exam week will still be in effect too.
