SJPS’s Remote Learning Schedule

As the New York Times reported Berrien County’s 145 new COVID-19 cases Sunday, Governor Gretchen Whitmer ordered the closure of high schools, colleges, in-person dining, casinos, and movie theaters in the state. SJPS released its own Remote Learning Schedule, which is to begin this Wednesday. Unlike last week’s online schedule, the new one allows teachers to hold Google meets in the afternoon with students if they deem necessary, and has a built in lunch break. Classes will begin at 9am and conclude at noon, unless there is an afternoon meeting.
