In an effort to make the SJPS community safer, over the past few weeks teachers have been searching for opportunities to get their second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. For many, their search came to a close this Tuesday, February 23, as teachers made their way to the Benton Harbor Meijer after school to receive the Pfizer vaccine.

“It was smooth… No pain, no symptoms.” Mr. Vree, said when asked about his experience with the vaccine.

This is a big step towards making the school a safer learning environment, and we can expect all teachers who choose to be vaccinated to receive both doses by late March.
