Grace Humes

What are your plans after high school?

 I’m planning on attending a four-year university to pursue a degree in environmental science or biology.

 If you could eat dinner with anyone who would be and why?

I would have dinner with Melissa McCarthy! She’s absolutely hilarious and comforting and I would love to hear all about her time on the Gilmore Girls’ set.

If you could have anything in the world, what would it be, and why?

If I could have anything in the world it would be to not be allergic to cats anymore :)

Who has influenced you the most, and why?

My dad is my biggest influence and role model in my life. He has shaped everything from my sense of humor to my determination in sports. I am eternally grateful for the undeniable support he’s given me throughout the years.

What are your plans after high school?

After high school I plan to go to a university (still figuring out which one) and major in Global Studies/International Affairs, minor in French and study abroad. 

If you could eat dinner with anyone who would be and why?

Catlin Clark, she is an awesome basketball player and seems like a fun person to talk with. Also maybe she will get me tickets to one of her games. 

If you could have anything in the world, what would it be, and why?

A house in Paris. Because if I know I have a place to stay I can put money into plane fair and be able to travel in Europe. I love traveling. I can rent the place out when I’m not there and make a little extra money. It would be awesome to have a home in Paris. 

Who has influenced you the most, and why?

My mom I’ve watched her work her whole life to give opportunities to her children. She is the first person I turn to when I need advice or just someone to talk to. She is the nicest more caring person I know and I am continually impressed by her. She’s taught me to work hard, be kind and enjoy life.  She is the reason I am who I am.
