Interact hosts annual career night

The Interact Club’s Career Night was hosted on Wednesday, October 15 in the student center. Packed with over 70 business professionals from around the community, students had the opportunity to sit down with these professionals and discuss their future careers. 

Many St. Joseph students took advantage of this unique night, Silas Lorenz, 9, being one of them. 

“I came to Career Night to learn about jobs. I still have no idea what I want to do with my future, so seeing all of these different opportunities was very helpful,” Silas said. 

Professionals not only brought flyers and information involving their career, but also set up many hands-on activities. Man Vs Cake winner Bryson Perkins hosted the baking booth, letting students decorate their own cupcakes. Electrical engineers brought various circuit boards and other physical examples of their profession. 

Career Night was a great opportunity for St. Joseph High School students. It gave students insight on what their future may hold, clearing up questions and concerns about career interest and showing them the many paths their future could follow.
