Since 1906, St.Joseph has held the annual Blossomtime Festival. This festival celebrates Southwest Michigan, and it is the oldest and largest multi-community festival. The Blossomtime festival is dedicated to helping the education of young people. The festival offers many young women the opportunity to get crowned for their communities. The community queen of St. Joseph High School is Olivia Ippel. “When I felt the crown hit my head I was shocked,” Olivia, 12,  said. “I’ve gained everything and more than I could ever imagine through the experience. From interview skills to confidence and a group of amazing girls that will be my friends forever.” Olivia said.
