Seniors Giving Back

Tuesday, May 26 marked the Senior Showcase which took place in the field house from 8 am to 10am. Seniors had worked on their projects from January and throughout May. Seniors created and showed ways to help or be of service to the community, and the AP seniors had to explain an older book they’ve read and why it’s still relevant today.

 Mrs. Tracy Becker, Senior English teacher, started the idea of seniors presenting projects in 2010 and still agrees that this is an important event. “It involves a lot of soft skills they would use in a job or college setting…” Becker said. (104)
