St Joseph Victorious in “War by The Shore”

The St. Joseph Bears crushed the Lakeshore Lancers at the annual War by the Shore game on October 7th. Kickoff was at 7pm at Dickinson Stadium.

Going into the game, the Bears' record was 3-3. The Lancers were 4-2 through the season so far. 

“I think we’re going on the turnaround now after we played two tough Portage teams, and now we just beat Lakeshore and we are getting ready for the playoffs,” Andy Barlow, 12 said..

Coach Pratley said that this team has been a different experience, considering the fact that there is a small senior class and that there are so many young players. He believes that they turned a corner and played together well against the Lancers. (122)
