Esports Club Given Grant For Computers

Esports coach and middle school math teacher, Mr. Joseph Zarhn was given a SJPS Foundation grant of $30k this summer to invest in professional computers. There were five installed in the media center lab on October 2, and a total of 12 are to be expected.

“We got them this summer to ensure we can provide equitable access to all students who want to be able to participate in the club,” Mr. Zarhn said. 

Gavin Brocato, 9 is very enthusiastic about this installment, and hopes other games will come to the club. With more members and voices, these hopes can be fulfilled.
