New Books Added to Media Center

The media center stocked their shelves with around 50 new books (in all genres) this fall. 

The majority of the books came from the annual $4,000 grant that SJHS receives from the American Library Foundation, but some of them came from the subscription SJHS has to the Junior Library Guild program. 

“I like when new books come to the library because there is a bigger selection of books,” Chloe Nicholson, 10 said. “And seeing the new books all lined up on the shelves is exciting.” 

Last week an additional 70 books were ordered, so shortly there will be many more new books lining the shelves.

Shown are some of the new books added to the media center: One of Us Is Back by Karen M. McManus, Missing Clarissa by Ripley Jones, The Naturals by Jennifer Lynn Barnes, and The Reunion by Kit Frick.
