The Chess Club Holds Its First Meeting of The Year

The chess club meets every Wednesday after school from 3-4 PM and is open to all skill levels.

Ms. Nevine Khalil leads the club. Her favorite part about being a Chess Club Advisor is “watching students shake hands and say ‘good game’ at the end. Honest and sincere sportsmanship is a key quality.”

St Joseph High School students attended the Chess Club after school on October 11 to play chess against fellow students.

“My favorite part about chess club is seeing different skill levels of people in the club and how everyone enjoys the game,” Dylan Walsh 11, the club leader for Chess Club said.
