Marching band is victorious at MSBOA Marching Festival

On October  10, the marching band participated in the MSBOA marching festival and came out with an all-1 score. This festival is not competitive, but instead, it lets the bands get ranked on a 1 (good) to 5 (poor) scale.

¨It was really exciting; we actually got yelled at for cheering too loud,¨ Elizabeth Moyer, 10, drumline, said. ¨We started learning this in August, but we started the music at the end of the school year last year!¨

As a result of all that practice and hard work, the drills that might seem impossible to the everyday Joe, have been described as ¨Muscle memory,¨  according to Band Director Josh Doe.
