Cross Country Fundraiser Kicks Off the 2021 Season

The 2020 girls cross country team awaits the beginning of a meet. With COVID-19 numbers lowering and mask mandates dissolving, the 2021 cross-country season is expected to be much different.

In preparation for the upcoming cross country season, a volunteer opportunity on Thursday, June 29 will take place to stuff goodie bags for the Steelhead Triathlon.

“We need as many hands as possible to successfully complete this task in a timely manner,” Coach Mike Mahler, cross country and girls track coach, said.

This follows the week of a formal cross country meeting on Tuesday, June 15 at 7 pm, but sign ups for the fundraiser should be arranged soon.

“If you plan to help, you must fill out the volunteer form,” Coach Mahler said.
