The Bear News makes a Comeback

The Bear News team is on the air but now with video! It’s been over a year since the Bear News announcements have had a video broadcast but today, April 26, marks its return. The first set of newscasters consisted of Josh Hafley and Lea Douglas who covered the general updates, lunch, prom announcements, clubs, etc. and Isabelle Gaver gave the sports recap. The rest of the news team consists of Brennen Kerns, Elijah Adams, Ellie Haunhorst, Jacob Remington, Justin Leany, Katherine Paloyan, Lincoln White, Maly Chandler, Matthew Hutchinson, Micah Wagoner, Roberto Cuadra, Veronica Sellin, and is advised by Ms. Edlefson. 

“I feel like it’s really great... it is easier for us to connect with the students and make it more personal.”  Veronica Selin, 12, said when asked about being able to broadcast on video again.

While it may be the end of the school year, it is excellent for the news to be back with video as we wind down the school year.
