The Orchards Malls Being Revamped

The Orchards Mall in Benton Harbor is set to be remodeled. The space that used to house JCPenny will now become home to 116 apartments. The luxury apartments will include two bedrooms and bathrooms. The apartments will be rented out in six-month increments to attract tenants who don’t live in the area. There will also be an outdoor pool for residents in the apartments. The old Sears building will be converted into a sports center. It’ll potentially have batting cages and tennis courts.
