This celebration was founded in 1997 by American ontomology-lover Jerry Hill––ontomology is the study of names––to better encourage the world to appreciate their names. This occurs every first full week in March. Some upcoming themed days for this week are Discover What Your Name Means Day, Name Tag Day, Middle Name Pride Day, and Descendants Day, according to The National Holiday Directory.
