Bella Finnigan, 12, poses in a flower printed t-shirt tucked into blue jeans. She layers this outfit with her cold-weather necessity: a jacket. Her oversized orange jacket spikes the simplicity of the rest of her outfit. Recently, Bella has been playing with monochromatic outfits, finding inspiration on Pinterest to create her recognized fashion. Taking advantage of her well-known style, she sells her clothes through Instagram, @anonlinegaragesale, where many St. Joe students buy statement pieces from her.

Representing boy’s fashion this month, Dylan Olson, 12, wears his staple—a black and white striped long sleeve shirt by Comme Des Garçons, a Japanese fashion label known for its main collection, Play, featuring a heart logo with two eyes. He pairs this with a pair of Tommy Hilfiger jeans and Yeezy Boost 350’s. “I like the idea of dressing up more,” Dylan said. “Compared to most guys, I think I put a little more effort in.” He creates his outfits using one main article, and matching the rest of the outfit based on colors.
