Select Graduates Inducted Into the Academic Hall of Fame

The Class of 2023 marks the sixth class since the St. Joseph Academic Hall of Fame was established in 2018. Since then, there have been 63 total students inducted, with ten and sometimes eleven students inducted each year.

The students selected from the Class of 2023 were Isabella Bacolor, James Diamond, Niklaas Door, Harsh Gupta, Jonathan Kwon, Raymond Lin, Silas Lorenz, Alayna Nolte, Victor Reyes, and Maxwell Taylor.

“I am excited to be recognized as a member of the academic hall of fame because that honor shows me that my work ethic from the past four years paid off,” Bella said.

To be inducted into the Academic Hall of Fame, a student must have a top ten cumulative weighted grade point average. The average weighted GPA of this year’s top ten was 4.42. To get a GPA above 4.0, students must take either Honors or AP classes, which are weighted.

“To be selected alongside such a great group of scholars is truly an honor,” Max said.
