Base Bowls and Company is Moving to the Beach
Base Bowls and Company announced they will be moving to a second location on Instagram Monday, May 29. They will be moving to 800 Lions Park Drive and are hoping to be open by the end of June.
“I’m excited for the new expansion and proud of Stephanie Ott (owner) and all of her hardwork,” Claire Caplea, 12, an employee at Base Bowls, said.
In addition to their new location, Base Bowls announced they will begin serving freshly baked cookies and baked goods from Henry’s Cookie Counter.
“We’ll have a display case of many unique types of cookies for customers to enjoy. We’ll also have on the go snacks and drinks available as well as beach necessities,” Claire said.
St. Joseph high school students are ready for their favorite healthy food shop to move next to the beach.
“I am extremely excited to be able to walk to grab an acai bowl or a nice cold smoothie after spending the day at Silver Beach!” Tess Kapelke, 10 said.

Base Bowls on 731 St. Joseph Drive is open Monday-Saturday 11am-7pm. However, the second location on 800 Lions Park Drive will be open 7 days a week 11am-7pm.
